Japan Motor Import is a Montreal importer and retailer of used Japanese domestic market (JDM) engines and transmissions and of new engines including KDM engines for Hyundai and Kia models. We have been in business since 1998 and ship across Canada from our warehouse at 10601 Ave Brunet, Montreal-Nord, Quebec.

What we sell
Each listing shows the part's condition (new or used), documented mileage in kilometres where available, the engine code, the vehicles it is known to fit, and the warranty term. Listing photos show the actual part or its typical condition. JDM parts can differ from Canadian-market parts, so customers should confirm fitment before ordering. The Disclaimer page explains these differences.

How we work
Used engines
Used engines are inspected and compression tested before shipping. Results are available on request.
Shipping and pickup
We ship to every province and territory with tracking, or you can pick up at the warehouse. Each item has a flat shipping price that is the same anywhere in Canada, shown at checkout before payment.
Installation
Local installation of engines and transmissions is available at the Montreal-Nord location, with a labour warranty on the installation work.
Warranty and returns
Every part is covered by the legal warranty. Limited warranty terms appear on each listing and in the Warranty Policy. The Return & Refund Policy explains when a return, exchange, or refund is available.
