Last updated and effective:

This policy explains, in plain language, what cookies Japan Motor Import uses on japanmotorimport.ca, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Section 1 – What cookies are

  • Session cookies: last only while you browse, then are deleted.
  • Persistent cookies: remain on your device for a set period.
  • First-party cookies: set by japanmotorimport.ca.
  • Third-party cookies: set by services built into the site, such as payment processors.
  • Local storage: a similar browser feature we use to remember display preferences, such as light or dark appearance.

If you block all cookies, the cart will not keep items between pages, sign-in and checkout will not work, and payment fraud checks may block payments. To limit tracking while keeping the site working, block only third-party cookies.
