Shipping policy

Japan Motor Import will not accept returns or refund money for items that do not fit. The only exception is if we have mistakenly posted incorrect information about Japanese specifications. Full warranty, sales, and maintenance terms are on the warranty and returns policy.

Shipping and transportation charges are non-refundable; please consider this before purchasing. We do not control how far you are located, so we will not cover the cost of returning an item from your location. Transportation charges are not included in item prices, which keeps our prices low; you may pick up items locally from our warehouse.

Inspect the outer packaging for damage before signing release documents, because the freight company will not allow the package to be opened first. Any damage must be noted on the release form before signing.

Shipping insurance is provided by the freight company, not Japan Motor Import. Japan Motor Import is not responsible for damage caused by mishandling during shipping.

Every engine passes a multi-point inspection and compression test, and only engines with positive compression results are shipped.

We select shipping partners for a damage-free experience. Orders usually ship the same day, and a tracking number is provided at the time of purchase. Any delays will be communicated to you.
