About Japan Motor Import
Japan Motor Import is a Montreal importer and retailer of used Japanese domestic market (JDM) engines and transmissions, and of new engines including KDM engines for Hyundai and Kia models. We have been in business since 1998 and ship across Canada from our warehouse at 10601 Ave Brunet, Montreal-Nord, Quebec.

How our listings work
Every listing shows the part's condition (new or used), documented mileage in kilometres where available, the engine code, the vehicles it is known to fit and the warranty term. Listing photos show the actual part or its typical condition. JDM parts can differ from Canadian-market parts, so please confirm fitment with us before you order. Used engines
Used engines are inspected and compression tested before they ship. We can send you the results on request.
Shipping and pickup
We ship to every province and territory with tracking, or you can pick up your order at our warehouse. Each item has a flat shipping price, the same anywhere in Canada, and the cost is shown at checkout before you pay. See our Shipping Policy for details.
Installation
Local installation of engines and transmissions is available at our Montreal-Nord location, with a labour warranty on the installation work. See our Local Installation page.
Warranty and returns
Every part is covered by the legal warranty, and our limited warranty terms are shown on each listing and in our Warranty Policy. Our Return & Refund Policy explains when a return, exchange or refund is available.
