1. Who we are

japanmotorimport.ca is operated by Japan Motor Import, 10601 Ave Brunet, Montreal-Nord, Quebec H1G 5E1. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Japan Motor Import. You can reach us at 514-369-3330 or japanmotorimport@gmail.com.

2. Using this website

• You may browse the site and place orders if you are at least the age of majority in your province or territory of residence.
• You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, not to transmit viruses or any code of a destructive nature, and not to copy or scrape our content (see our Legal Notice).
• We may refuse service or suspend access if these terms are broken.

3. Products and listings

Each listing describes the part's condition (new or used), documented mileage in kilometres where available, engine code, the vehicles it is known to fit and its warranty term. Unless a listing says otherwise, parts are used. Photos show the actual part or its typical condition.

Fitment information is a general guide. You must confirm that a part fits your vehicle before you order. Read the full listing and our Disclaimer, and contact us if you are unsure.

4. Prices

• All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Shipping and taxes are shown at checkout before you pay.
• The price shown when you place your order is the price you pay for that order.
• If an order is affected by an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before shipping and you may proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
• We may change prices for future orders at any time.

5. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm it by email. Orders remain subject to stock verification and payment verification. Most of our parts are one of a kind, so if an item is no longer available we cancel the order and refund you in full. We may also refuse or cancel an order that appears fraudulent or that we cannot fulfill, and we will tell you if we do.

6. Payment

Accepted payment methods and the checkout options (pay in full, deposit (40%) or reserve ($450)) are described in our Payment Policy. Deposits and reservation fees are not refundable if you cancel without a legal reason, as explained in the Payment Policy and the Cancellation Policy.

7. Shipping and delivery

Shipping costs, taxes, delivery estimates and what to do when your shipment arrives are described in our Shipping Policy. Please inspect freight deliveries before signing and report any damage within 48 hours.

8. Returns, warranty and cancellations

Our Return & Refund Policy, Warranty Policy and Cancellation Policy set out when a return, exchange, refund or cancellation is available. Refused deliveries are charged a 20% restocking fee plus freight, unless you are exercising a legal right.

9. Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived by contract, including the legal warranty and the distance-contract cancellation rights under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act and the consumer protection laws of your province or territory.

10. Intellectual property

Our content, including product descriptions, photographs we take, page layouts, graphics and the Japan Motor Import name and logo, is protected by Canadian copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use in evaluating our products. Any other use requires our written permission. See our Legal Notice for details.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a claim relating to a product is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as third-party labour or diagnostic costs, towing, rental vehicles, lost income or loss of use of a vehicle. These limits do not apply where the law prohibits them, and they do not limit your legal warranty or any other right you have as a consumer.

12. Governing law

These terms and all purchases made through japanmotorimport.ca are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes with business customers that cannot be resolved directly are submitted to the courts of the judicial district of Montreal. Consumers keep the protection of the consumer laws of the province where they live and their right to bring a claim before the courts where the law allows, including the Small Claims Division of the Court of Québec. We do not require consumers to use arbitration.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, and the date at the top shows when it was last revised. Changes do not affect orders already placed.
